today a friend of mine was accusing me of "strongly objectifying women" through my work....please may this picture change her mind...it refers to the birth of wine...within the confinement of a divine ancestral cellar....it is all about creation and enlightenment...the bottle is an old traditional Italian Fiasco...and the green tainted glass is protecting the wine from the UV light which is filtering through the bottle from the small cellar window...the image of the virgin Mary is embedded within the old rugged cellar wall...as she appears to pray in total contemplation...
